The father of a Southern Youth Foundation member allegedly shot dead by an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has demanded justice.
Christian George said his son, Itekena George, was allegedly killed on July 15 at their family residence in Port Harcourt following what he described as an unverified allegation against him.
He appealed to the Rivers State Commissioner of Police and other authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure those responsible are prosecuted.
The President of the Southern Youth Foundation, Emeni Ibe, also condemned the killing and called for a transparent investigation into the incident.
