Nigeria political crises: PDP seeks UK/US intervention

The party’s national chairman, UCHE SECONDUS, led other PDP chieftains to the US and UK embassies in Abuja.

Speaking with newsmen, SECONDUS alleged that President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has failed in his duty to provide security for the people.

He said the content of the petition contains a plea for other international communities to come to the aid of Nigeria and to advice the government to obey the rule of law, especially as it relates to the National Assembly and the judiciary.

SECONDUS however made reference to the case of EMEKA IHEDIOHA of Imo state, who was sacked by the Supreme Court as the Governor of Imo state.

He said the party is fully in support of the minority leader in the Senate who suggested the resignation of the president from office.
