Engenni indigenes decry state of East-West road
The people of Engenni in Ahaoda West Local Government Area of Rivers State have continued to lament over the deplorable state of the Mbiama axis of the East-West road.
Some of the residents who are traders told Today FM's Sandra Kenneth that the terrible state of the road has led to the cancellation of market days, several times, due to accidents on the bad spots.
They expressed the fear that they have been abandoned by government, which is, subsequently, economic activities in the area.
Also speaking, the president of Engenni Youth Assembly, Onem Okenya, recounted recent incidents that happened in the area and called on necessary agencies and federal government to come to their aid.
