Police Brutality: Rivers Judicial Commission of Inquiry comes to an end

The sitting of the Rivers State Judicial Commission of Inquiry on Police Brutality has come to an end.

Our correspondent Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that the Chairman of the Commission Justice Chukwuneye Uriri confirmed that 187 were entertained; out of which 76 were struck out, while 94 were concluded and slated for conference.

 

Justice Uriri while commending everyone for their cooperation, assured that the report including recommendations will be submitted to the state government in due time for prompt intervention.
