National Assembly summon Pres Buhari over prevailing economic hardship.

The House of Representatives was the first to adopt the motion inviting President BUHARI to brief the federal legislature.

The Senate followed today by concurring to the motion for President BUHARI to make clarifications about his plans to take the economy out of crisis.

Our correspondent JAMES IGAH reports that the Senate took the decision in concurrence with the House of Representatives for President BUHARI to address a joint session of the National Assembly.

It is expected that the President’s presentation would help the National Assembly take further legislative action on how to handle the recession.
