Most petrol filling stations in Port Harcourt remains closed because of lack of products to sell to the public. Some businesses that depend on privately generated electricity have also been forced to close shops because of non-availability of petrol to power their electricity generating sets. However; black market dealers of petrol are lining every street corner in the Rivers State capital, as they take advantage of the fuel scarcity to make quick gains. Our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR went round some areas in Port Harcourt and spoke with helpless respondents. There you heard some residents of Port Harcourt complaining about the scarcity of petrol across Rivers State.
