MOSOP Warns Against Vote Buying Ahead of Election

The Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People (MOSOP) has cautioned voters in the Rivers South-East Senatorial District against selling their votes during Saturday’s by-election.

MOSOP President, Andah Wai Ogosu, urged the electorate to vote for candidates capable of addressing the needs and aspirations of the people. He also called on INEC to ensure the timely deployment of election materials and personnel to polling units.

Ogosu further warned political parties and candidates against promoting violence and engaging in electoral malpractice, stressing the need for a peaceful and credible electoral process.
