The Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP), led by Fegalo Nsuke, has denied reports of a leadership crisis, insisting the organisation remains united and committed to the Ogoni Dialogue Committee.
Speaking with our correspondent, Nsuke dismissed claims that he had rejected reconciliation efforts, describing them as false and aimed at misleading the Ogoni people. He urged Ogonis to actively support the ongoing dialogue with the Federal Government to resolve long-standing issues affecting the region.
Nsuke also called on the people to rally behind the Dialogue Committee and resist attempts to derail the process. He maintained that a recent court judgment nullifying the last MOSOP election supports his leadership, stressing that the group’s focus remains the collective interest and development of the Ogoni people.
