Boxing legends Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are set to renew their historic rivalry in a stunning rematch scheduled for September in Las Vegas.
Mayweather will officially come out of retirement to face Pacquiao at the Sphere on Saturday, September 19, in what promoters are already describing as one of the biggest sporting events of the year.
Pacquiao previously ended his retirement on July 19, 2025, when he challenged Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight championship, signaling his intention to return to elite-level competition.
The two boxing icons first met on May 2, 2015, in a bout famously billed as the “Fight of the Century.” On that occasion, Mayweather secured victory via unanimous decision, extending his undefeated record in a fight that generated record-breaking pay-per-view numbers and global attention.
Their upcoming rematch is expected to reignite one of boxing’s most talked-about rivalries, with fans eagerly anticipating another chapter in the storied careers of both fighters.
