The man in his mid-twenties jumped from the building while trying to escape from the mob attack after allegedly stealing the sum of five thousand naira from a customer in a sport betting shop at Azikwe Street in Diobu.
Eyewitnesses who spoke with our correspondent described as unbelievable the man’s survival after jumping from such height.
Our correspondent reports that the man was later caught and handed over to the police for further action.
