ODINGA maintains that the election was rigged in favour of the incumbent, alleging that the electoral authorities committed fraud tantamount to the slaughter of democracy.
But ODINGA’s view is at variant with the opinions of foreign observers who described the election as free and fair.
Meanwhile; the international community has continued to call for calm amid fears that the fraud claims could result in violence in Kenya, just like what happened after the 2007 election, which claimed the life of one thousand, one hundred people and displaced hundreds of others.
