Kebbi Government Updates on Abducted Schoolgirls, Two Escape

The Kebbi State Government has clarified the number of schoolgirls still in captivity following a recent abduction, revealing that two of the kidnapped students have escaped.

The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Halima Bande, made the disclosure while speaking to journalists in Zuru on Tuesday. She explained that bandits abducted 26 girls during the invasion, and although two have managed to escape, 24 schoolgirls remain in captivity.
