The Kano State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, IBARHIM MUKTAR said SANUSI was only removed by the state government as Emir.
Speaking on a television programme monitored from Port Harcourt, the commissioner said the government is surprised at the narrative of banishment which has trailed the removal of SANUSI, adding that the government never used the work banished when SANUSI’s removal was announced.
MUKTAR however acknowledged that SANUSI was taken out of the state after his sack.
