The first incident was recorded at Kwoi village in Jaba Local Government Area on Sunday, followed by another twenty-four hours later at Sambang Dagi community within the same local government area.
Eyewitnesses who spoke with newsmen about the incidents recounted how residents of the affected communities scampered for safety.
However; the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency said the tremor occurred twice in Kwoi community, as against claims that Sambang Dagi was also affected and Nok communities.
The Executive Secretary of the agency, EZEKIEL BABA-KARIK, was quoted in a report confirming the incident but said no life was lost.
He said most of the residents who fled their homes did so out of fear, adding that the impact of the incident was being exaggerated.
The Emergency officials also said a team of geologists have been mobilized to the area to study the environment and determine what caused the earth tremor.
The development comes after the Nigeria Geographical Information Service warned that indiscriminate drillings could trigger earthquakes in parts of the country, particularly in the south west region.
