The PDP candidate for Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency, Dunameme Dekor and the candidate for the Port Harcourt Federal Constituency II, Blessing Amadi, were declared winners respectively by the Returning Officers.
The INEC had announced the winners of the supplementary election after the collation of results were concluded for Sorgho and Bangha communities in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State and PHALGHA II.
Recall that the All Progressives Congress candidate for the election, Collins Owhondah had withdrawn from the race, less than twenty four hours before the election and announced his defection to the PDP.
Owhondah cited lack of focus, seriousness, and insensitivity of the APC leadership in the state as reasons for dumping the party.
