Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has completed his medical ahead of his proposed £75 million move from Newcastle United to Arsenal.
The 28-year-old is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Premier League champions after both clubs agreed on the transfer fee, with an official announcement anticipated soon.
Guimaraes, who captained Newcastle and played a key role in the club’s recent successes, is set to become one of Arsenal’s marquee signings as manager Mikel Arteta strengthens his squad for the new season.
