Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will take on Burkina Faso in the final of the 2026 WAFU B U-20 Championship after both teams advanced from the semi-finals.
The defending champions booked their place in the final by defeating hosts Côte d’Ivoire on penalties after a 2-2 draw at the end of extra time, keeping alive their hopes of retaining the regional title.
Burkina Faso also progressed to the final, setting up a rematch with Nigeria after defeating the Flying Eagles 2-0 during the group stage of the competition.
The final presents an opportunity for the Flying Eagles to avenge their earlier defeat and successfully defend their WAFU B U-20 Championship title.
