Gombe State University Sets 18-Year Admission Age Limit

Gombe State University has announced that candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026 academic session must be at least 18 years old.

The university, however, said exceptions would be made for underage candidates who demonstrate exceptional academic ability by scoring 300 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The policy is aimed at ensuring academic maturity while providing an opportunity for outstanding younger candidates to be considered for admission under special circumstances.
