LEYII KWANEE who is the immediate past Deputy Speaker of the Rivers state House of Assembly announced his return to politics during a parley with newsmen in Port Harcourt.
KWANEE who served as the Deputy Speaker in the seventh Assembly under Governor ROTIMI AMAECHI said his return is prompted by the need to reposition Rivers state which is fast drifting from the dreams of the forefathers.
He stated that his mission is to further articulate the vision of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers state, adding that he wants to ensure that the APC takes its place in the state.
LEYII KWANEE also said Rivers state needs a democrat with visionary leadership that can build on the legacies of former Governor ROTIMI AMAECHI, stressing that the office of the Governor of a state is sacred.
