EVANS, the kingpin was arrested in his mansion in Magodo estate in Lagos over the weekend by the police Joint Special Forces led by the Intelligence Response Team, the Lagos State Police Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit and Technical and Intelligent Unit of the Force under the supervision of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State.
Force spokesman JIMOH MOSHOOD, revealed in a statement how the kidnapping syndicate seize their victims, kept them at various mansions in Lagos and demand ransom from their families.
MOSHOOD also gave timelines of some of the gang’s activities and how they made a staggering five million dollars from four victims, aside other millions of Naira.
Some members of the gang including FELIX CHINEMEREM, NWOSU CHUKWUMA, UCHECHUKWU AMADI, and a woman identified as OGECHI AMADI who allegedly cooks for the Kidnappers and their victims in the camp also spoke with newsmen.
Other members of the gang are SUOYO PAUL and IKENNA EMEKA who allegedly supply the gang with arms and ammunitions.
