Firms Launch Embedded Power Project To Reduce Lagos Gensets

Two energy firms have entered into a partnership to deploy embedded power solutions aimed at reducing reliance on generators in Lagos. The agreement focuses on delivering stable electricity supply to commercial and residential areas including Marina, Ikoyi, Lekki Phase One and Victoria Island.

Officials involved in the project explained that the initiative would provide round-the-clock electricity by bypassing constraints associated with the national grid. They added that the embedded power model is expected to improve productivity, reduce operational costs for businesses and lower environmental pollution caused by widespread generator use.
