The faction of the party had kicked against the decision of the Federal Government to swap some Boko Haram militants for the schoolgirls abducted in Chibok, Borno State three years ago.
Reacting to the PDP statement, the Minister of Information and Culture, LAI MOHAMMED, in a statement described the stance as indecent, inhuman and ill-timed.
The Minister noted that it was insensitive to politicise an issue that has generated so much joy across the world.
He restated the commitment of President MUHAMMADU BUHARI’S administration to rescuing the abducted girls by whatever means possible.
MOHAMMED added that there was nothing wrong if the measure includes swapping Boko Haram members for the girls.
