Former England international, Eniola Aluko, has said that the England women’s national team is more competitive and organised than Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
Aluko, who has Nigerian roots, explained that while Nigeria has plenty of raw talent, England has benefitted from better structure, investment, and planning in women’s football. She noted that this has helped the Lionesses develop into one of the top teams in the world.
She added that the Super Falcons could achieve much more if Nigerian football authorities improved infrastructure, invested in grassroots development, and supported the women’s game with proper planning and resources.
