Super Falcons midfielder Christy Ucheibe has completed her move to Saudi Women’s Premier League club Al Hilal, marking a new chapter in her professional career.
The 25-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Riyadh-based club after spending six successful years with Portuguese champions Benfica. She will join fellow Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala at Al Hilal as the club strengthens its squad ahead of the new season.
Ucheibe, a former Nasarawa Amazons player, won several domestic honours during her time at Benfica and was part of Nigeria’s Super Falcons squad that won the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Her move to Saudi Arabia will be her first experience playing in the country.
