EMMA CHINDA was directly mentioned in the scandal that erupted over the weekend following the parade of some individuals who were allegedly caught in the act of printing of INEC result sheets and ballot papers.
CHINDA accused Governor NYESOM WIKE of trying to arm-twist the police into doing his bidding in the investigation of the incident.
Recall that the Governor WIKE addressed a news conference on Wednesday after a similar briefing last Sunday, during which he accused the police of attempting to subvert justice on the matter.
But the former Agric Commissioner said the conduct of Governor WIKE was capable of compromising the outcome of the police investigation on the matter.
CHINDA advised the police to disregard Governor WIKE’s utterances and focus on knowing the actual source of the fake sensitive election materials and how the discovery was made.
The APC chieftain further called on supporters of the party not to be intimidated but to go out and canvass for votes ahead of the December 10 rerun elections.
