Chairman of the council, Chinedum Johnson-Amadi while addressing newsmen in Portharcourt said Governor Nyesom Wike erred when he withdrew the certificate
of recognition of EZE JOHNSON thereby dethroning him and replaced him with Chike Worlu-Wodo.
Amadi said that Eze Gift Eziwho Johnson was rightfully installed by the Kersiolu Ruling House adding that removing him would be a direct contravention of Ekinigbo people and Apara Kingdom.
Chinedum Johnson-Amadi said that since Governor Nyesom Wike installed Chike Worlu-Wodo as the Eze Oha Apara, he has been illegally collecting monthly levies from business operators in the kingdom.
The Ekinigbo Clan Town Council chairman however said that Eze Gift Eziwho Johnson has dragged Chike Worlu-Wodo to court over the stool of Eze Oha Apara stool and promised that they would maintain peace while the matter is been heard.
When contacted director of media to the Chike Worlu-Wodo, Innocent Okocha denied collection of levies just as he advised the Ekinigbo Clan Town Council to be patient while the court decides on the matter.
