At least two people have been killed and more than sixteen thousand others forced to flee their homes by the slow-moving typhoon. Officials said a teenager was killed by a fallen tree in Manila, while a concrete wall collapsed in Subic town, northwest of Manila, killing a 62-year-old woman. Authorities in the Philippines have sent in troops to help residents who are trapped on rooftops, but access to the remote areas is difficult.’
