Dozens of PDP Members in Omuma Ward One Ditch Simplified Movement, Pledge Loyalty to Kelechi Nworgu and Nyesom Wike

Members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward One of Omuma Local Government have defected from the Simplified Movement, condemning it as a failed group lacking direction. The defectors, comprising youth, women, and community leaders, declared their allegiance to the federal lawmaker representing Etche/Omuma in the House of Representatives, Kelechi Nworgu, as well as FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

The gathering saw the PDP supporters express confidence in Nworgu as the credible and trustworthy leader with a clear vision for a better Omuma Local Government Area. They emphasized that their loyalty now lies with leaders who can deliver progress and unity.

Receiving the defectors, Ward One leader Stanley Nwuzu assured them of inclusive leadership and equal opportunities within the PDP. He praised Kelechi Nworgu as a beacon of hope, unity, and progress for the people of Omuma and the Etche region.
