Dispute Takes Over Oyibo Community

 
Our correspondent gathered the community has been locked in a dispute over the control of revenue sources.
 
Tension remains high at Obeakpu after opposing youth who are aligned with two factions of elders within the community engaged in violent clashes.
 
Former Vice Chairman of Oyigbo Local Government council, INNOCENT AJAELU who hails from Obeakpu, said the situation is giving concerned stakeholders a cause for concern.
 
AJAELU, who spoke with our correspondent on telephone, said the concerned stakeholders from Obeakpu have decided to intervene and have called for a meeting of community stakeholders to resolve the crisis.
 
INNOCENT AJAELU is a former Vice Chairman of Oyigbo Local Government council in Rivers State.
