Electricity Distribution Companies have blamed low power generation for the repeated collapse of the national grid. According to the DisCos, insufficient supply from generation companies has continued to disrupt power distribution, leading to frequent nationwide blackouts.
They explained that unstable gas supply and poor infrastructure have limited the ability of power plants to generate electricity at optimal levels. The companies called on relevant authorities to address challenges across the power value chain to ensure stable electricity supply.
