DARIYE is battling to defend himself against one point one-six-two billion naira fraud charges slammed on him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The case is being handled by Justice ADEBUKOLA BANJOKO against the wishes of the accused person, who had requested that the matter be reassigned to another judge.
But the Chief Judge of the FCT High Court dismissed DARIYE’s request on 23rd January, because he claims of manifest and undisguised bias was baseless and unfounded.
