Embattled President JOSPEH KABILA, who has served out his constitutionally allowed tenure, gave this indication in a wide-ranging speech to members of parliament in the capital Kinshasa.
The new prime minister, who is due to be announced in the next forty-eight hours, is meant to be an opposition member.
The decision is part of a deal brokered by the Catholic Church to resolve a political stalemate after President KABILA refused to conduct fresh election.
However; President KABILA pledged his commitment to hold elections later in the year as part of the deal, but he did not give a date.
