Chairman of the Committee, CHRISTIAN AHIAKWO made the observation when he led other members of the Committee in an oversight function to the institution.
After listening to the challenges the institution is faced with, AHIAKWO said the Assembly will advise the Rivers State government on how to continue to make the institution better.
Earlier, Rector of the institution, SAM KALAGBOR recounted the needs of the school to include hostel accommodation and increased funding and also pleaded that their demands be captured in the 2020 budget.
