Our correspondent reports that youths from Bomu and Lewe community were locked in confrontation, with some persons killed, before the Rivers State Government intervened.
Thereafter; fighting erupted within Bomu community, as two rival cult groups battled for supremacy in the area.
The Paramount Ruler of the community, Mene CHARLES TENALO, who had been making efforts to restore calm, said he eventually sought the intervention of some religious leaders.
Mene TENALO gave this indication in an interview with our correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA.
The Bomu Paramount Ruler appealed to youths to maintain the peace in the community.
