At least 27 people have been killed and eight others critically injured after a massive fire swept through a bar in Bangkok, Thailand.
The fire broke out late Sunday near the stage of the entertainment venue in the city’s Chatuchak district before spreading rapidly, cutting off power and filling the building with smoke.
Videos shared online showed panicked patrons fleeing the building, with some sustaining burn injuries as they escaped.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
