As the world marks the 2015 HIV/AIDS day today, Nigerians have been warned against the stigmatisation of infected persons.The Medical Officer in charge of Omuma Local Government Area of Rivers State Doctor SETH NZOR gave the warning after a sensitisation exercise on HIV/AIDS.
NZOR told correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA that the sensitisation exercise was to promote the well-being of those living with the virus and to accord them their rights as legitimate members of the society.He noted that stigmatisation against those living with HIV and AIDS has been a major issue in this part of the world and called for a law against it.SETH NZOR is the Medical Officer in Charge of Omuma Local Government Area of Rivers State.
