In a statement by the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Major Geneneral John Enenche, large reserve of arms and ammunition were also recovered during the operation.
Enenche disclosed that the operation was carried out by troops of Sector 9, in collaboration with troops of 35 Battalion and Quick Response Group of 17 Brigade of the Nigerian Army.
He added that 2 helicopter gun ships of the Nigerian Air Force, personnel of Nigeria Police Force and elements of Nigerien Army also participated in the operation.
