Armed robbers operating around Port Harcourt have devised a new method of robbing unsuspecting bank customers. The hoodlums now lay ambush around banks for customers who may want to make withdrawals from Automated Teller Machines late at night. One of such incidents happened at a commercial bank located on Olu-Obasanjo Road where some individuals were attacked after making ATM withdrawals. One of the victims, who confirmed the incident to our correspondent, said the robbers forced the ATC drawers at gunpoint to surrender about three hundred and twenty-five thousand naira. A senior police who also confirmed the incident also advised members of the public to avoid using bank ATM late at night.
