Argentine international and Barcelona’s forward, LIONEL MESSI, has been world’s best football player for the fifth time.
MESSI who is 28-year-old won the prestigious Ballon d’Or award with forty-one point three-three votes.
Real Madrid forward CRISTIANO RONALDO finished second, with twenty-seven point seven-six percent of the vote, while Barcelona’s NEYMAR scored seven point eight-seven percent to finish third.However; twenty-three-year-old NEYMAR became the first Brazilian to finish in the top three since KAKA won the award in 2007.
