Professor OSINBAJO gave the warning against the backdrop of recent threats by Arewa youths against Igbos residing in the northern part of the country to leave the area before 1st of October.
The Acting President read the riot act during a consultative meeting with some leaders from the north at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Professor OSINBAJO said the ultimatum by a group of Arewa youths cannot be ignored and would not be tolerated, warning that hate speeches can inflame crisis and war.
The Senate President, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, chief of staff, service chiefs and other officials of government attended the meeting.
