A statement released by the Rotimi Amaechi Media Office disclosed that Madam LYDIA DEBEWARI died at the age of seventy-eight at a private hospital in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The former Governor of Rivers State said late Madam LYDIA DEBEWARI was a God-fearing mother who will be missed by all.
ROTIMI AMAECHI prayed God to comfort the family members and give them the grace to bear the irreplaceable loss.
The statement further disclosed that the remains of the deceased would be buried according to the Anglican, on a yet-to-be announced date, in her husband’s home town in Tombia-Ekpetiama, in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
She is survived by her husband and seven children and host of other relations.
