The Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State, Aboiya-a Bob-Fubara, says his administration is focused on delivering people-centred projects within available resources.
Bob-Fubara stated this in Abonnema when leaders from Belema community visited him to seek the council’s intervention in some of the community’s needs.
The council chairman urged the Belema leaders to be patient, assuring them that he would meet with them to identify projects that would have a meaningful impact on the community.
Bob-Fubara also assured the leadership of Belema that his administration would not interfere in the government-recognised traditional institution.
He, however, said the council would partner with the traditional institution and other community leaders to promote the development of Belema.
