The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, has been described as having the political capacity and vision required to reposition Rivers State and restore its status as the Treasure Base of the Nation.
The assertion was made by the Eze Oha Evo III of Evo Kingdom, His Majesty King Professor Leslie N. Eke, also known as Eze Gbakagbaka, while speaking with journalists at his palace in Woji Community, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
King Eke, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Forum of Ikwerre Government-Recognized Traditional Rulers, said Wike’s governance record demonstrates his ability to tackle complex challenges through practical solutions.
The monarch cited Wike’s achievements in Abuja as evidence of his developmental drive, adding that the minister’s national influence continues to create opportunities for Rivers people both within and outside the state.
King Eke urged residents to look beyond political differences and support leaders who have contributed positively to the development and growth of Rivers State.
He stressed the need for unity among the people, saying collective support for credible leadership remains essential to the state’s progress.
