The directive was contained in a statement released by the Force Spokesman, DON AWUNAH in Abuja.
DCP AWUNAH said the police personnel comprised of Police Mobile Force, Counter Terrorism Unit, Anti bomb Squad, Marine Police as well as conventional policemen.
Others are the Armament Unit, personnel from Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department, Force Intelligence Bureau and the Sniffer Dog Section.
The Force spokesman assured that police aerial surveillance helicopters and gun boats would also be on duty, as well as ten additional armoured personnel carriers and five hundred and fifty patrol vehicles.
