The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has reiterated the importance of honouring political agreements, insisting that commitments must be respected when entered into.
Wike, who spoke during a public engagement, stated that “agreement is agreement,” stressing that failure to keep one’s word amounts to ingratitude, which he said “God detests.”
The former Rivers State governor also announced that active political engagements ahead of the next electoral cycle would commence in 2026, signaling early positioning and preparations.
Wike’s remarks come amid ongoing political realignments and debates over loyalty, power-sharing, and future alliances within the country’s political space.
