ADC Mocks Defunct Simplified Movement After Fubara’s No-Show

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State has taunted members of the defunct Simplified Movement after Governor Siminalayi Fubara failed to receive them at the Government House, Port Harcourt, on Thursday.

In a statement, the State Chairman of the ADC, Leader Sampson, said the incident was a clear signal for the group’s members to reconsider their political future. He urged them to look beyond what he described as “rejection” and consider joining the ADC to revive their dwindling political fortunes.

Sampson assured that the ADC would not treat them as disposable pawns but would instead provide a platform for growth and relevance in the state’s political space. He added that the party is committed to engaging young people and addressing their aspirations.

According to him, the ADC offers a credible alternative for those seeking to contribute to building a brighter future for Rivers State and Nigeria at large.
