This was a resolution reached during plenary following a motion of urgent public importance raised by a member of the house, DACHUNG BAGOS.
BAGOS said there was need for the House to intervene in the disagreement between the Federal Government and ASUU over the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System and other underlying issues.
Other lawmakers also suggested the issue be resolved to avoid an indefinite strike by ASUU, adding that the strike is a national embarrassment.
