The Senate has fixed Tuesday next week to begin the screening of ministerial nominees by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI.
The list of first batch ministerial nominees containing twenty-one names was unveiled by Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI, on resumption of plenary yesterday.
Top on the list are former governors CHRIS NGIGE of Anambra, KAYODE FAYEMI of Ekiti, ROTIMI AMAECHI of Rivers and BABATUNDE FASHOLA of Lagos.
Others ABDURRAHMAN DAMBAZAU from Kano, AISHA ALHASSAN from Taraba, OGBONAYA ONU from Ebonyi, KEMI ADEOSUN from Ogun, as well as ABUBAKAR MALAMI of Kebbi, Senator SIRIKA HADI of Katsina, and ADEBAYO SHITTU of Oyo.
SULAIMAN ADAMU is also on the list for Jigawa, SOLOMON DALONG for Plateau, IBE KACHIKWU for Delta, OSAGIE EHANIRE for Edo, UDOMA UDO-UDOMA of Akwa Ibom and AHMED ISA IBETO of Niger.
APC National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji LAI MOHAMMED is a ministerial nominee for Kwara, AUDU OGBEH is in the list for Benue, as well as AMINA MOHAMMED for Gombe and IBRAHIM JIBRIL.
