Our correspondent ELFREDAH ALERECHI was at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni and saw students who reported for classes on the second day of resumption but the lecturers were not ready to teach them.
Some of the respondents described the ASUU strike that lasted over one month as a major setback to their studies due to the additional time they now have to spend in school.
At the Rivers State University, our correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA reports that many offices remained closed despite the suspension of the ASUU strike.
The Chairman of the local chapter of ASUU, Doctor PUYATE SUOBERE explained that lecturers have resumed but students who travelled during the strike were yet to return.
You would recall that the three other non-academic staff unions in the universities are also on a nationwide indefinite strike, which started after the ASUU strike.
