Chairman House Committee on Environment, CHRISTIAN AHIAKWO made the call in his address to commemorate the World Environment Day.
AHIAKWO said it is important for people regardless of their class to make a clean environment their priority.
The Lawmaker representing Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Constituency One in the Rivers state House of Assembly also advocated for tree planting and persistent cleaning of the environment.
CHRISTIAN AHIAKWO said the theme of this year’s World Environment Day is pertinent to the current reality in Rivers state and Nigeria in General.
